Since it is so blazing hot in Arizona right now, I've been keeping myself busy with some sewing projects. They've taken some time to make because I've been learning as I go but I think they turned out nicely.
I made curtains to cover our sliding glass door. Since our doors are so tall and wide we were having a difficult time finding anything in the store that would fit so I decided to make them on my own. They have a grommet top & are lined to keep out the heat.Neal made a built in cabinet in the living room to store all of Tyler's toys and I made the cushion to go on the top.
Tyler just loves to play on top of this new window bench and we love that his toys aren't scattered around the living room anymore. (I made the curtains above the bench during the winter but never posted the finished product.)
