Cabinets

Those of you who know my husband, know he always has some project going in our house. Something is always torn apart or under construction! I love the final projects but dread the mess during construction. The other day during the show Private Practice, Neal would run upstairs during the commercial breaks to install cabinets in our hallway and then run back downstairs to watch the show. He has no idea how to sit down and rest. I wish I had half his motivation and energy! Amazingly he installed the cabinets within the hour and they look great! I'm so lucky to have a handy husband!

Watching TV

Tyler decided to sit and watch American Idol after having supper. We are learning that Tyler is a remote control hog!! When watching American Idol he never sings out loud like Mommy does.

Hiking

We took Tyler on his first hike at the White Tank Mountains with Grandma and Grandpa. He slept through the whole thing!

Deneen's Visit

My parents have come to visit for the week and my Aunt Jeri came for the weekend. We're spending a lot of time outside enjoying the weather before they have to go back to the 10 degree weather in Indiana.

Weighing Tyler

Because Tyler is so small, we've had to keep a close eye on his weight. Unfortunately he hasn't been gaining weight as quickly as the doctors would have liked, so Neal came up with a way to weigh him at home to track his progress. We only had a food scale that would weigh in ounces so Neal decided to use a pizza pan and the food scale. It looks scary but it works :-).

New Office

Laura and I have thrown around the idea of getting a new home office installed. We have had two companies come out and give us quotes on the project. We have received one quote so far and what a joke. The company wanted $9000 dollars and that was after a 40% discount. I can't wait to see the next companies quote, these people are living in another world. I will probably have to buy and install the home office myself.
